Here's my handsome guys at the Mountain Man Rendezvous. I'm so proud of myself having learned how to spell RENDEZVOUS correctly!!! We had beautiful weather for our stroll around Lucky Clover Campground checking out the attractions portraying the pre 1840 time period. There were black powder shoots and a huge cannon being fired for extra excitement. We saw a woman spinning anything from Buffalo hair to human hair, blacksmiths at work and leather being crafted into beautiful and useful items. Our big purchase were some antler pieces for making arrowheads, which is turning out to be harder then anticipated. We love "living history" and we were actually able to "log" this as school time. They had a pig roasting and were selling sandwiches which hubby just had to try. He wasn't disappointed with his sandwhich or apple pie (grin).and ever
