I have an addiction... it started to subtly... just one here, and another one (or two) there... organizing I told myself, it's just organizing....
20 something binders later I've finally realized I'm hopelessly addicted to BINDERS!!!! Especially the ones that let you slide... custom made binder titles and front covers in them, ummmmm satisfaction!.... the rush I get from tackling loose papers on my shelves into neatly organized BINDERS!!!! ewwwwwwww I just love the orderly look of my school room shelves when I can read the spines on my binders from across the room..... Mwah hahahahaha!!!! BINDERS!!!!! I need some more!!!
Deuteronomy 6:7 "And you shall teach them diligently unto your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up."

Hanging out at home...
Well the Corbett's are hanging out at home today. We thought about having a bunch of friends over to fellowship today, but our roads are still pretty trecherous because of ice. Hubby is planning a "Super Bowl Feast" complete with wings, little smokies and a bunch of other finger type foods. Funny, even though I live in a household of men, they've just gotten into watching the super bowl the last two years.
I'll be catching up on laundry, baking something to offset all the other festive foods today and working on school stuff.
There's snow in the forecast for today, tomorrow and Wed., I'm hoping it doesn't interfere with our homeschool class again on Tuesday. It's been nice though, having so many days at home. My sweet hubby tool us into Sullivan Friday so the boys wouldn't have to miss math tutoring and we could get SCC cleaned. We were able to hit Wal-Mart too and get the few stock up items on my list. While we were out a slipped, didn't fall, but pulled a muscle in my righ butt check. It hurts! Hoping that dosen't last long!

soooooooooo much ice!
It's been sleeting since sometime last night and hasn't let up one little bit! I'm praying we don't lose power. We are stocked up on groceries so being stuck home is okay, but losing power means losing everything... lights, water & heat!
Been so busy working on the FAITH Fellowship website and piddling with the new FAITH Fellowship FB page that I haven't updated on the family lately.
We are doing great in spite of being iced in. I did my BIG Aldi stock up last week and then hit the local sales before the storm rolled in so we are good and stocked. I've been busy getting the boys books ready for their next round of studies... Biology, Spanish, CQLA Lang. Arts will be a few of their new subjects. It's involved a LOT of copying! I've bought everything but their biology slides. I'll probably need the Algebra 2 and Geometry soon also so I'll be shopping for a deal on those.
Nathaniel's been watching for a sale on Taylor guitars and Keegan purchased a Mapex drum set which will be coming is the next several weeks. Thankfully their music teacher Allen, will come and help put them together and tune them when they come. Then we will all need ear plugs!
We finally cleaned the BIG HUGE fish tank in our living area. What a job that was! But it looks great now and I have hidden the fish food so they don't get over fed again, which trashes the tank.
I'd love to get motivated enough to start canning carrots and making jelly. It sure would make more room in our freezers if I got all the frozen fruit I have stored in them made into jam & jelly!
Wow, I can hear the ice hitting the sliding glass doors... it's literally raining ice! Our kitties are watching absolutely fascinated by it. The dogs however are cuddled up together in the doghouse sleeping through it and the chickens came out looked around and either went back into the coop or took cover under the hoop house.
I am slowly but surely making my way through the mountain of papers on my desk. Part of my continual organizing and "fine toothing" my environment.
Hummm... lunch is sounding good about now so I'll close for now. Hope everyone is weathering the storm inside staying warm = )
