Here's Nathaniel getting his first bit of hardware! He's got his "Wired by Walde" T-Shirt on and he's ready to go. I gave him aspirin before we left hoping it would help with the soreness and then we had the ice storm to contend with on the way to Washington Mo. Thank you God that my wonderful hubby with the awesome driving skills was off due to the weather and could take us because there is NO WAY I would have drove there! We made it a family affair and of course I took pictures and aggravated him the whole time. Little brother Keegan was super excited to find out not only does he have a year before he's ready for braces, but Dr. Walde's office had video games! Wooohoo! Keegan had his x-rays done and was off to play as brother "got wired." Hubby had been teasing him on the way there that they would put a "lip spreader" on him and little did we know that they actually would... sorry Nathaniel! They also had a REALLY COOL salt water tank in the lobby which the boys thought was awesome! We took them out for Chinese food on the way home before Nathaniel's soreness kicked in and then fought the ice all the way home. So here we are at the begining of about a 30 month journey... he looks so much older with the braces on... wahhhh!
