Time to post!!! I was doing really good for awhile and then life got busy AGAIN. Funny how it does that... over... and over.... and over.
Believe it or not we are actually doing less "away from the house" stuff then ever before, and what we are doing is getting closer to the house so that's a really good thing = )
We still clean the church in Sullivan and have music lessons on Friday's... so very thankful for my little job and our music teacher who the kids just really, really like. In fact he and his beautiful wife just had their 3rd child, their first baby boy little Jude. We've yet to meet him but so looking forward to it.
We are truly blessed with the friendship (and math abilities/ medical advice) of Mrs. Cynthia. She lives very close to us and we've been having the best time getting to know her and her wonderful family.
I just got back a couple of weeks ago from my FIRST trip ever with out kids & hubby! I went to Searcy Arkansas with Mrs. Judy to help her do the homeschool conference down there. We had a great time and she did really well. The people of Arkansas are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Very out and open about their faith in God and hungry for anything to do with homeschooling.
Spent time with Mrs. Melissa the other day. My hubby drove us into STL for a shopping trip and to get their newest blessing (Levi) circumcised. Keegan, who is about everything medical right now was allowed to watch the procedure. We went to Costco and Trader Joe's while in STL and stocked up. The boys had the best time visiting with Abraham the whole way there and back. We picked up a mattress set from my folks and had a van load of groceries on the way home. Besides almost losing the mattress set once on the highway we had a great (but hot!) day.
The FAITH Fellowship "Curriculum/Rummage" sale is finally behind me!!! It was a success and would definitely be something we'd do again in the future. Tomorrow I'm headed to the CHESS book sale, hoping to unload some more of the 16 banana boxes I have left from the FAITH sale. Yes, you read that correctly... 16 left over! That should give you an idea of how many I started with!
Today we wrapped up school first thing this morning so we can meet friends at Cherry Valley Creek later this afternoon. I already have a crock pot of chicken going for dinner, the laundry caught up, dishes washed and a shower done. Hubby's out working in his garden and it's already too hot in Missouri!
My house is FINALLY starting to look like a house again instead of something off "Hoarding." It will get even better after tomorrow's book sale.
I went on an extreme couponing adventure yesterday at Dollar General and I have pics to post but my EasyShare software isn't working at the moment. So you'll have to wait in anticipation!
Since our homeschool co-op is on break until the end of July, we've been plugging away at the basics... math, reading/language and music. Until all the book sales are done and my house is back in order there isn't much time for anything else. I'm on a mission to get those things done so that we can spend some time just visiting with friends... it's long over due and I want to get that visiting in before canning season starts. I'll be dehydrating again soon as produce goes on sale.
My only "complaint" at the moment is that our van has no AC.... this makes me a very unhappy camper = ( I just don't do well in the heat anymore... praying l sell enough books to help hubby get it fixed.
Other then that, we're all doing good and God is great as always!

Deuteronomy 6:7 "And you shall teach them diligently unto your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up."
