Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!!!

What a glorious morning! We woke up to about 5 inches of snow and it's still coming down = ) The chickens have yet to brave leaving their coop!

I made breakfast for my guys, toasted homemade bread with a fried egg and a slice of ham & cheese to top it off. We will most likely open our gifts to each other today as we have to travel to St. Louis tomorrow for Christmas with my family.

We really kept the gifts to a minimum this year. It's been something our family has collectively felt led to do. The more we grow in our walk with the Lord the more we we are blessed by the true meaning of Christmas. Fortunately we were never completely sucked into the whole "commercial Christmas" and our children have never been focused solely on the presents. In fact we're probably one of the few parents in the world that have kids that say they don't really want anything for Christmas.

I know Christmas will be different in their households someday, they know more then we did when we had them. Santa will fill a slight capacity if any, and Christ will be the center of this season for them.

Merry Christmas and a properous New Year!
