All grown up!

Keegan & Nathaniel
Where has the time gone?????????? It really does seem like yesterday that they were so small. Nathaniel is taller then me and will be taller then Dad soon. He absolutely LOVES that he is taller then me now. I love that he can reach the top shelves (hehehehehe!).
I think I may have created a monster buying them dress clothes! That's all they want to wear now. I'm so thankful for the thrift stores and my sewing machine. Keegan all but begged Charles to show him how to tie his own ties so he could dress up ALL the way.
They are grown up in more ways then their outer appearance... they're part of the adult Sunday school class with us now, and they're getting the "meat" instead of the milk. I can see Jesus moving in their hearts. It comes out in so many ways... we couldn't be prouder of the young men they're becoming.
Our teacher is a man on fire for the Lord. His absolute insistance on biblical truth with nothing added or taken away has been such a blessing! We are learning so much and it has helped us to deepen our walk with the Lord. He has personally challenged the class to memorize scripture for ourselves and it's amazing to me how well the boys are at it. My older brain takes a little longer.
My first memory verse was Isaiah 40:8
"The grass withers, the flower fades away but the word of our God stands forever."
I love that! No matter what this world may bring, as Christians we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God's word (and all the promises in it!) will stand forever! Matthew 5:18 say's "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." WOW!!!!
Our God is a promise, covenant keeping God!
You know... Psalm 19 tells of how the heavens and earth DECLARE there is a God. My heart bleeds for those that harden their hearts and refuse to believe. Worse yet will be the shape of those who "knew of God" and thought that would be enough.
My questions for Christians is what are YOU doing to share the truth with them???? We will also give an account of our lives, will you stand in shame before Jesus not having done the task COMMANDED us in scripture?? Step out in faith and share the gospel with unbelievers around you, you may be the only bible they ever read. There is nothing more amazing and beautiful then seeing the eyes and heart of an unbeliever unveiled as they come to Christ!
