We are not your "stuck in the house" or "stuck in the sticks" family! I sometimes wish we were! We have to say NO to some of the fun/educational events that come along just to keep up with our lessons. I would LOVE to have all day to bake or make crafts... to not have to be anywhere!!!
People who think homeschooled kids aren't socialized need to come to my house. And they need to bring gas money. Our schedule includes: Karate, Ju Jitsu, Kick boxing, Kali, bowling, skating, piano lessons, co-op delivery/playdates, birthday parties, homeschooling field trips and the Pick Your Nose Club!
My calendar on any given month looks like a well orchestrated mess of times and dates of places we have to be. Next year we will add orthodontic appt's to that mess, ohhhh JOY! Who would have ever thought being a full time mom would be busier then any career I've ever had, even working double shifts! But... and I do mean BUT... I am the most blessed woman on the earth! I wouldn't trade my simple life as a Mom for all the gold and treasures on the earth. THANK YOU LORD FOR MY LIFE!
