Whooosh!

That's the sound the first week of October made as it went by! Whoooosh! Where to start, we'll to the left is the newest addition to our zoo. This is Flap Jack a Missouri soft shelled pancake turtle (aka: Flap Jack) who now resides in our river tank. As you can see he/she is very tiny, only about 3 inches in diameter.

The last two weeks ahve been busy, busy as you can tell by the date of my last post = ) We have been fishing in the Huzzah Wilderness Area, having Bon Fires and we went to the Mountain Man Rendezvous. Today we are meeting our co-op truck in Sullivan Mo. and picking up chickens on the way home. Someone we know is moving and needed to find homes for their flock. We're taking 2 hens and 3 pullets to add to our flock. Daddy has a cold and isn't feeling the greatest but he and Grandpa are going to pick out lumber for the new side deck, stairs and dog house and make arrangments to have it delivered. So another busy day here for all. I will post pic's of all our adventures over the the last 2 weeks sometime this weekend.
