Life is good!

Today we started easing back into a full time school schedule. The boys seem to like everything we've chosen for this year. It's nice to finally have "tried" enough things that we actually have a pretty set curriculum now for each subject. That will make ordering books thru high school sooooooooooo much easier!!! We had our usual busy Wednesday yesterday. Lessons in the morning then off to piano, kali and karate classes. The boys had hoped to try the Jiu Jitsu class last night after karate but it starts next week. If they like it, that will make Wednesday's VERY full days for us. I was so proud of the boys last night in all their classes. They're turning into such fine young men. We had a conversation in the car on the way home last night about seeking God's Will in everything we do and being in countinual prayer with our Heavenly Father over even the smallest decisions in our lives. It was one of the conversations that you just knew in your heart that the impact was a great one. We are so excited that when drive into Sullivan now we can see daddy working there! My hubby is a union laborer and he landed a job that started in Sullivan at the beginning of the week. We can actually go see him and have lunch with him = ) Usually he works all the way in St. Louis or somewhere far away like that. Sullivan is 45 min. away, and by our country standards that's close! In fact, our nearest Super Center is in Sullivan. That will tell you how far out we are! I thanked God again for my wonderful hubby yesterday (and everyday) for the awesome family man that he is, for the strong man that he is (able to work in this awful heat!). There just aren't words to describe someone who is your everything <> I'm so humbled by how blessed I am. Thank you Jesus for all you have given me!

The boys entered the world of sharps and flats in piano yesterday, official leaving me in the dust as far as my limited understanding of that whole process. I told them when they get a little further along they can begin to teach me, and if hubby and I are blessed with any other children they will be the "official piano teachers" in our house so we don't have to hire out again, that's getting your money's worth! Today during their piano practice time they put Ruby & Elizabeth (the rats) in their exercise balls in the back of the piano and serenaded them to sleep = ) I'll have to upload those pictures later.
