We had a full and exciting month! We've had every kind of critter in our house that you can imagine this month. A giant Bull Frog, a 3ft. Northern Black racer (snake) a baby snapping turtle, box turtles in all sizes, Broad headed skinks, various toads and smaller frogs and our current resident a 4 ft. Black King Snake named "Hissssss. " You should see Nathaniel petting this thing and allowing it to crawl all over him while watching TV. Keegan is a little more hesitant around it since witnessing it bite the end of our dogs nose. Yes! it has teeth. The snapping turtle escaped in the house and after looking EVERYWHERE for it we finally found it under Grandpa's dresser! That had Baddddd written all over it. Needless to say he was dropped off at the nearest pond on the way to church the next morning. We've ordered ALL our books for the rest of the year (and most of next year). Teaching Textbooks Math is working wonderfully for us. We are excited to be doing "All American History" and Zoology this summer. These pictures are from a walk we took on the Blue Heron Trail.
